Why joyaa exists
“When a woman is truly loved, she is blossoming gift to life.”
Priya Mahtani
We are living in a time that is fast-paced, fragmented and overstimulated. Yet beneath the noise a quiet truth is rising:
Women long to reconnect.
With themselves.
With each other.
With the sacred feminine.
JOYAA exists to answer that longing.
Creating spaces where women and men can exhale and finally feel held.
Who Are We?
JOYAA is a feminine sanctuary for connection, creativity, and belonging.
It is a place where women and men gather to soften, remember and flourish.
Through circles, retreats, and storytelling, JOYAA offers gentle, transformative spaces where lived experience can be felt, named and integrated — supporting you to restore self-trust, reclaim coherence, and come home to the wisdom living inside you.
JOYAA is founded and stewarded by Priya Mahtani — a writer and facilitator devoted to truth as a living, embodied practice.
.
JOYAA offers heart-centred circles, retreats and storytelling spaces for embodied healing, reflection, and transformation.

what guides this work
JOYAA is rooted in the understanding that truth is not an abstract idea, but a living, embodied process.
When life fractures us, coherence is how we survive — and honesty is how we return to ourselves.
This work is not about fixing what is broken, performing healing, or striving to become someone else.
It is about listening — to the body, to lived experience, and to what is quietly asking for attention.
JOYAA is guided by:
Embodied presence rather than performance
Slowness over urgency
Relational care over hierarchy
Consent, safety, and nervous system awareness
Trust in the intelligence already living within the body
Everything offered here — writing, circles, and gatherings — is held with this same orientation:
gentle, trauma-aware, and grounded in lived experience rather than doctrine.
This is a space where depth is welcomed,
where nothing needs to be rushed,
and where wholeness is remembered, not imposed.
